Black Belt Poker Live Backing
How does the Live Backing System work?
When you attain a Belt level of Green or higher, you have the
option of buying into live tournaments with your Spending
Points.
You can select any event(s) appropriate to your Belt from a menu
of the month's available live tournaments at the appropriate
level.
Green Belt
Individual buy-in up to $500
(optional - Tournament $ purchased with Spending Points - see
below).
Blue Belt
$1,500 per month, individual buy-in up
to $1,000.
Brown Belt
$4,000 per month, individual buy-in up
to $2,000.
Black Belt
$10,000 per month, individual buy-in up
to $10,000.
Using Spending Points For Live Tournaments at Blue, Brown And Black Belt
Green Belts are eligible to use monthly Spending Points for
buy-ins to live events. When you play events at Green Belt, you are
not sponsored by Black Belt Poker, and you get to keep 100% of your
winnings. You can buy tournament entries from your spending points
at a cost of 30 points per Live Tournament $.
Using Spending Points For Live Tournaments at Blue, Brown And Black Belt
As a Blue, Brown or Black Belt, you may use spending points
for sponsored live buy-ins. As a Blue Belt,
sponsored tournament entries cost 14 Spending Points per Live
Tournament $. As a Brown Belt, sponsored tournament entries cost
13.5 Spending Points per Live Tournament $. As a Black Belt,
sponsored tournament entries cost 13 Spending Points per Live
Tournament $. Sponsorship is available only as a 50/50 share
between you and Black Belt Poker with make-up. Monthly and
individual tournament limits for each Belt level are set out above,
these can be changed on a tournament-by-tournament basis at the
sole discretion of Black Belt Poker.
Blue, Brown And Black Belt Player Share
This refers to the split of returns from any tournament between
the player and Black Belt Poker. This is 50% after make-up (the
restitution of previous buy-ins to Black Belt Poker, calculated
before splitting the remainder of the prize money).
From January 1, 2012, and as an exclusive offer to Brown Belts
and above, after 12 months of maintenance, Black Belt Poker will
move 1% of the 50/50 backing deal every month back to the sponsored
player for a maximum of 10 months. For example, after five months,
the sponsorship agreement will be 45/55 in favour of the
player.

Belt level which involves live tournament buy-ins, please sign and

Submitting Results & Payment
Until the live backing system is available, email tournaments@blackbeltpoker.com with
details of results and to arrange payment with Black Belt
Poker.
When the amount due to Black Belt Poker has been confirmed,
payment must be made in the form of cash (the currency of the prize
won, or GBP), transfer via the Black Belt Poker cardroom, or bank
transfer/cheque (GBP only).
When calculating make-up, GBP will be used, converting any
foreign currency winning amount at the daily spot rate plus 2%.
Submitting Results & Payment
Belt Points in the form of Prize Points will be awarded to Green
Belts and higher for every live tournament cash as soon as payment
to Black Belt Poker is credited. When calculating Prize Points, the
