After being inspired by Gavin's "Poker Business Plan" article and buying the book myself ("Book Review : "Treat Your Poker Like a Business" " ) I have put together my own Poker Business Plan and have started following it since 1st November

For me, the most important thing for the plan is that it needs to be realistic and sustainable. i.e. needs to fit my bankroll and my lifestyle so I can achieve what I set out.
The Plan
6:00-8:00pm 8:30-10:30pm
Saturday - -
Sunday - -
Monday Study Tournament
Tuesday Tournament Tournament
Wednesday Study Tournament
Thursday** Study Cash
Friday - Cash
** 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month are Live play
Study
* Reviewing hands
* Reading Poker books
* Reading/responding to threads/articles online, such as BBP forum
* Watching Poker training video's
* Using simulation software to analyse situations
Tournament
* NL Hold' em $10 or $20 STT (2,6 or 10 seat)
* NL Hold' em <= $10 MTT
* 8 game or HORSE <= $6 STT or MTT
Cash
* PL Omaha HiLo or Hi $0.10/$0.20 (6 or 10 seat)
* NL Hold' em $0.10/$0.20 (6 or 10 seat)
Targets
* Cash : 1000 hands per week
* Tournament : not quite decided yet
Although the above isn't a huge amount of time playing Poker, it is sustainable, fits into my lifestyle and the wife is happy with it as well !
It's too early to really tell yet, but seems to be working OK for me so far. My results for November are looking good already, albeit mainly due to my BBP League win :-)
