London Calling

So, after approximately one month as a Blue Belt, I decided it was about time I put down the laptop, put on some clothes and made one of my rare forays into live poker. On the first weekend in November, while nine fish squabbled over a measly few million in Vegas, I descended on London with the cream of the poker crop, for Fox Club’s annual London Calling Main Event.

All in all, I’d probably played live about six or seven times prior to this, my previous outing being the DTD Grand Prix in August. Whilst I spent two and a half years and more hours than I care to count sat at live tables as a dealer, playing live certainly isn’t something I’d yet got comfortable with, though my weekend at Fox would definitely go a long way towards changing that.

I was a little nervous on the train journey up...
