I’ve attempted to pen a new blog on three occasions since I played UKIPT Cork last month. This is now the fourth attempt, currently being typed on board a plane over the mid-Atlantic, and I have already deleted the opening paragraph four times. I’ve tried everything, but I just can’t find a way to cover Cork without going on some sort of rant, so I’m not even going to talk about it.
Okay, maybe I will, but just very briefly! Sam Razavi saved the trip for me. Seeing a friend close out a major tournament while I was on the live rail was a great experience and I am really looking forward to watching it back on TV soon for two reasons:
1) To have a look at his hole cards and see just how much he pwned everyone (one hand in his heads-up match is going to look particularly sick in my opinion).
2) To see if the TV cameras caught any of my face on the rail so I have some form of proof that I was there.
