The long-awaited, but much anticipated second part of David Gentry's London Calling report.
London Calling

First off, apologies to anyone who’s been on the edge of their seat waiting for this for the best part of a month now. I’d intended to get Part 2 up the week following Nottingham Live but a laptop malfunction put paid to that plan. Fortunately I’m back online again now, so without further ado, here we go with the thrilling conclusion to London Calling.

If you didn’t make it beyond the opening paragraph of Part 1, or somehow missed it altogether, I finished Day 1 with about 84,000 in chips, 13th with 35 remaining. After a refreshing two hours sleep, split between a bench in Trafalgar Square and the prestigious Marylebone Travel Lodge, I staggered back to the Fox Club like a consummate professional, about 30 minutes after the restart. I don’t know whether it was due to sleep deprivation or the lack of any semi-playable hand but I went nowhere fast for the first few hours. My table to start Day 2 was probably marginally tougher than it had been for Day 1 but I wouldn’t say it was especially intimidating. I really didn’t sniff a hand though and I found it hard finding spots to pick up pots without one.
